It is considered slaughtering animals just like the meat processing plants and the poultry houses. Unlike the above mentioned facilities
animals that are harvested by hunters most usually die quickly and humanely. The next time
you have a cheeseburger or chicken tenders try
to imagine the poor steer hanging upside down
with its throat cut bleeding, on the way to the skinning line. Chickens are scaulded alive so they can be plucked more easily. People who hunt kill animals for themselves, people who go
to the supermarket let someone else do the dirty work for their self-rightous asses.Hunting.....?
hunting animals helps with population control allowing for less diseases and starvation, which in itself would be cruel.

no, its not murding, its legal in the right season. there are certiain seasons to shoot certian animals so dont worry about killing them off r n.e.thing like that. so what if we do it for sport, its just somethin that people like to do, its not hurting anything so y not?
I don't mind hunters if they eat what they kill, and do it in a sporting manner. What I can't tolerate is ';canned hunts';. Bunch of places in the Hill Country (you can tell by the ten-foot-tall fences) raise exotics for the sole purpose of letting rich city folks shoot a critter when it comes to feed (under a timed feeder, which spits out corn at predetermined intervals). Kinda like fishing a baited hole. Real sporting, that is. Places like that should be fire-bombed.
there are many other reasons to hunt other than for meat. # 1 would be population control, would you like to see animals overpopulate and starve to death?? would this not be indirectly murdering them?? there are other conquences of over population, such as deer on the highways and by ways, causing accidents and making everyone's insurance premiums go up. also, wild game is much healthier to eat than domestic animals. hope this helps you understand and educate others.
Only if done without a license. Booze, tobacco, etc. are all legal if the State gets their cut.
no. i do it for 3 reasons. sport, family tradition, and a lot of food for $6
