What kind of ammo should I use for goose hunting in Nebraska?

I have an old shotgun that will only take 2 3/4'; shells. Most of the guys here hunt the big geese with BBB ammo out of 3 or 3.5 inch shells. Anybody got recommendations for non-toxic shot that will take down a goose from a 2.75'; shell? What kind of ammo should I use for goose hunting in Nebraska?
Use magnum shells and try Bismuth or hevishot in a BBB,BB,#2 shot size.....or larger if legal and you are shooting long shots. The cheap steel stuff is a waste. Remington makes some good non tox stuff that is cheaper.....but,Bismuth is the best......thing next to lead.DWhat kind of ammo should I use for goose hunting in Nebraska?
since you live in the greatest state ever you should have access to cabela's just go down there to get an expert's opinion.
