Hunting for sport is not common practice. I hunt, but not as a sport and your ancestors didn't hunt for sport. We hunt for food.
BTW there is no such thing as an innocent or defenseless animal in the wild. Wild animals have a better sense of smell and hearing than me. They can run faster than me, and they are born with a natural coat of fur to disguise them. Not defenseless
Innocent?? Millions of animals are eaten by other animals daily in the wild.
Do you deny that you are a animal born with 4 canine teeth and a digestive system made for handling meat??What's the difference between hunting innocent animals as a sport and Vick's dog fighting scandal?
There IS such thing as an inocent or defenseless animal- IT'S GUNS! They can't defend themselves if they get shot by a gun. DUH!
Because whatever I hunt I eat. It goes down in one clean shot, there is no suffering. I don't abuse the animal, in a second of pain it is ended.
But when you abuse and torture, there is pain. It's not just a second, it's years of pain and mental suffering.
That is the difference.
when you hunt animals they are not torchered, hunting is a sport like it or not, dogfighting is not a sport, also hunters dont abuse and neglect what they kill.
long story short, hunting is legal while dogfighting and killing dogs with your bare hands is NOT legal!!!
SO HEH!
I hate hunting as well but at least men hunt and eat their kill, dog fighting they take pleasure in watching the animals kill maim and they themselves torture the animals. Its a big difference. If people were shooting animals without eating them I would say they are sorry a@@ idiots but at least like I said there is a purpose for it. Dog fighting what is that purpose?
I felt that way until I actually read up on it. It is one thing to kill an animal...but it is another to torture an animal. VIck was hanging dogs, shocking them with a tazor, and beating them. If hunters were doing that then they would find themselves in the same position. He was not alone shooting the dogs, and then he lied about it and later admitted to it because the NFL suspended him.
