Hunting...?

Does anyone know the bag limit for white-tailed deer in Michigan? and if you know of any good site to go to let me know. I have to write a paper about:

Why the bag limit should be increased, and how it will help the economy.Hunting...?
currently you are allowed to shoot two anterled deer with combination tags. You can apply for doe permits and are allowed two if you own/lease 40 acres or more of private land. So theoretically you harvest 4 animals total. However we have management unit 452 which is in the northeast of lower michigan and there they give out as many tags as you want due to the outbreak of TB in that area. There were a few other counties that gave out more tags and also had an extended doe hunt. One of the counties was Washtenaw.

Go to Michigan. Gov/dnr and you should be able to get some valuable info.

Goodluck and GodspeedHunting...?
Bag limits should be raised when deer overpopulate an area and destroy crops and cause many car crashes. More deer starve in winter because of not enough food to feed them all.

Hunters spend millions of dollars on equipment, food, licenses, permits, ammunition, gunpowder, arrows, to rent property or a room for the night/week, and beer. That money helps local businesses, natural resources, wildlife management, and hunting safety courses.
Just go to the Michigan Wildlife department web site. Also Wal-Mart will have hunting abstracts in the sporting goods department. If the bag limit is increased it will thin out the population, since Michigan has a large deer population. It will help the economy by sellling more deer tags (licences), more travel, hotel use, guide services, food establishments, taxidermy services (deer mounting), and finally butchering services. It will help decrease the accident factor that will reduce the high cost of insurance, hospital care, law enforcement involvement, and many more factors. Best of luck.
